We had been talking about making a motorcycle trip for a few years by this point, but the trip had always been planned as a US trip. That was until my relocation to Ireland changed the plans. One day, I had the idea that instead of me flying back to the US, he should fly over to Ireland for a ride around my new country of residence. Of course, that was a hit with the young man who had never left the US borders at this point in his life. So, with some planning and scheduling, we arranged seven days on the road at the end of September.

The trip would involve two motorcycles. We would then head north from Dublin before heading west and following the Wild Atlantic Way down the west coast of Ireland, before heading back to Dublin.  Here is a video I did from teh trip.

If you would like to read about the full trip, check out the chapter on it in my book An Expat’s Guide to Ireland
