I’ll skip over days nine and ten as they were spent those days relaxing around the hotel, seeing a few sites, and getting messages and sleeping in.

The whiskey trip as a whole was a success in the achieved goal of visiting numerous Scottish distilleries, having a relaxing vacation, and seeing the lush countryside. We did bring a few bottles back home, but mostly the trip was all about sampling on the visit. Should you be wondering, however, how many samples did we taste, here is the answer.

In the end we samples51 whiskies. But don’t worry, just because we sampled doesn’t mean we drank all that much. Just like doing a wine tour, sampling sometimes involves a sip or small drink. And, in some cases a shot or two.
